Posted May 21, 2018 06:16:38RUSSIAN FILM SCHOOL is being used as a tool to train directors for film, a new report has claimed.
The Russian Academy of Film and Television has reportedly created a special section for film students at its academy to get training in filmmaking.
It’s part of the academy’s “educational program” and the academy says the program is intended to help prepare students to work in film and television.
It is a “new initiative”, the academy told the RIA Novosti news agency.
It has been suggested that the program aims to teach film students how to work with the technology they use to create film.
The report claims that film students will be trained to work on “new projects” with new directors and that the academy is working to make this program more accessible to the public.
“I am confident that this program will help film students learn to become more efficient, creative and innovative in their work,” the academy said.
“There is a growing demand among students and young people in Russia to become film professionals.
This program will offer them a valuable experience in working with new filmmakers, with a focus on their technical skills.”
The program was first announced in 2016, and according to the report, the new section has been developed to address this demand.
“The project is in the early stages of development, and we are already in discussions with various stakeholders, including filmmakers, cinematographers, directors, editors, etc.,” it said.
“We believe that this is a worthwhile project and that we will be able to contribute to the development of a useful educational program.”
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the country’s top film academy, says the new program is designed to help train students in the arts of film making and production.
“We are delighted to announce that the Academy of the Russian Academy for Motion Picture Art and Sciences has created a new educational program, called ‘The Academy for Film and Film Production’ for Russian students in film,” it said in a statement.
“This new program will aim to develop a new generation of film students to create innovative, high-quality films.”
The report also suggests that the new film program is aimed at boosting the Russian film industry.
“Film is a new field for Russia,” it added.
“There is also a demand for new technologies and tools for the future of the industry.”
Russia’s film industry is estimated to be worth $100 billion.
