New Jersey Film School graduates are back in the classroom

NEW JERSEY (AP) New Jersey’s film school graduates are returning to the classroom after a three-year hiatus, with more than 3,000 graduates in full-time training at New Jersey State University.

The New Jersey Times reports that New Jersey film school director and president Michael Minkler said the students will return to classrooms and seminars to continue teaching and research on the latest and greatest filmmaking techniques.

Minkler says he hopes they will continue to build their film schools reputation and expand their knowledge to create the next generation of directors and filmmakers.

He says there are also opportunities for students to participate in community service and the New Jersey Department of Education will provide them with a $50,000 scholarship.
