The Last Man On Earth film series has secured its second director, writer and executive producer.
The Last Men is a sci-fi-themed drama set in the year 2020 in the near future where humans have already left the planet.
The series is produced by Ridley Scott and is executive produced by Rian Johnson and Ryan Fleck.
The last man on earth is a character from the film, “The Last Men.”
The series will premiere on Netflix this fall.
The Last Meedan, the film that launched the series, is a science fiction-themed film that takes place in the future where a group of survivors of a near-future civil war is forced to live together in a small village in the American Southwest.
The survivors are the last remaining humans on earth who were left behind when a nuclear holocaust took place thousands of years ago.
Last Men is the latest project from Ridley Scott to get a Netflix order.
Scott previously directed the critically acclaimed “The Martian” film and the Netflix series “House of Cards.”
“The Last Martian” has been praised for its stunning visuals and stunning action.
It also follows the survivors of the war as they try to stay alive as they fight for survival in a world that is dying of starvation, disease and pollution.
The show will star Alan Tudyk, David Thewlis, Josh Gad, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Jessica Walter, J.K. Simmons, Chris Sullivan and Robert Pattinson.
Netflix’s “The First Time” was an awards season phenomenon.
The film won two Oscars including best picture and best original screenplay.
