With the football season over and the national championship just a week away, Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer is already thinking about what’s next.
As Meyer and his staff prepare for a rematch of the 2016 National Championship game in Atlanta, the Buckeye Athletic Association is hosting a conference call to discuss all things Buckeyes.
“It’s a huge honor to be the coach of the Buckeys, and I’m very proud of the team that I coached and the program we’ve built,” Meyer said in a press release.
The new Buckeyes are going to have to make a decision on their head coaching position by the end of next week.
But Meyer is eager to get back on the field, and he’s looking forward to getting back to work.
“We are going back to practice,” Meyer added.
“We have the most exciting program in the country.
It’s going to be great to go back to it and continue to win.”
It will be interesting to see what Meyer and the rest of the coaching staffs future holds.
