The Knicks are currently looking to upgrade their film school system, but if they decide to do so, the money they’d spend would be better spent on improving their overall roster.
The team currently has six film schools.
It’s a mix of schools in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Chicago, and Orlando.
The Knicks have had success in recruiting film schools over the past couple years, and it seems that the organization believes that they can do a better job recruiting film school players, according to a report from The New York Times.
One of the areas the Knicks are focusing on is film school affordability, and the paper said that the team is interested in bringing in film school graduates to play for the team.
New York is a hotbed of film school interest.
The Knicks currently have five film schools in total: Albany State, Columbia University, Duke University, Georgetown University, and The New School.
The paper noted that the Knicks’ film school program has been a bit of a success in the past few years.
The team was able to bring in five film school grads in the 2016-17 season, including guard Isaiah Whitehead, guard Jordan Clarkson, and point guard Marcus Morris.
